When the Virani family approached Outsiders with an ambitious vision of creating an outdoor suite of rooms meant for entertaining, relaxing and working, we were excited to be part of their big ideas for a multi-use space.

With the benefit of a generous paved area beyond the trees at the bottom of their garden, we set out to maximise this area with an aspiring blueprint for outdoor living.

The result is a spacious garden room that doesn’t encroach on their leafy planted area and established, much-cherished trees. The exterior is impressive – on approach, you’re greeted by the graceful, minimalist lines of the charcoal coloured cabin that’s positioned next to an elegant seated area and pampering hot tub.

But inside is where this sizeable retreat comes into its own.

We had a brilliant experience from start to finish with Rob and his team at Outsiders and I genuinely can’t recommend them enough.

A huge TV and games room has all you need for some entertaining down-time – from a wide-screen TV and table football to a corner kitchenette with built in wine fridge.

While next door, you can freshen up in a contemporary shower room, ready for a day’s work in the front office next door – its wide picture window framing the garden and letting in plenty of daylight. Smart controls operate heating and air conditioning, making this outdoor beauty a pleasure to work, rest and play in, all year round.

The Client’s Verdict

Rob and the team built an amazing room that the entire family adore and has opened up a part of our garden we really rarely used or accessed. I personally spend a lot of my time working from my office there and it’s basically extended our house with more living / hang out space.

We literally could not be happier with the product and have stayed in touch with Rob and the team as they are the best builders we’ve simply ever worked with. If you are thinking about a garden room, I highly, highly recommend Outsiders and they are worth every penny – considering some of the other quotes I saw, I think this was huge value for money.
