Installation times can vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. At Outsiders we pride ourselves on the quality of our work. From the moment we begin your garden, we aim to have it completed within 3 weeks. However, depending on any bespoke aspects added, it may take a little longer. We will give you an estimate for how long the work may take along with your quote.

At Outsiders we use a Pile Screw system, which means we can build on an uneven or sloping surface. We include the foundations in our prices, so you won’t need to level the area before we arrive.

Yes, all our garden rooms are fully insulated to ensure comfort throughout the year, regardless of the weather conditions.

Everything we need to construct your garden room can be walked through a standard door frame. We always ensure internal floors are protected as we are passing through.

We always try to help as much as we can. We will be able to advise you during the site visit if we can include clearing the space for you.

We use a Pile Screw foundation system for our garden rooms which last longer and are much more environmentally friendly than pouring concrete. This means we can install easily on sloping or uneven ground, in any weather! Our pile screws are guaranteed for 25 years.

We include the fitting of the floor in the price, but we leave choosing which floor to our clients as this is such a personal thing. We are happy to help with ordering and delivery to make this as smooth as possible for you.

We plasterboard, plaster skim and paint the walls and ceilings. We also offer plywood cladding if preferred.

EPDM is our standard roof option. It creates an excellent waterproof barrier to your garden structure and has been specifically designed for flat or low-sloped roofs. You can add a sedum roof to your garden room, which sits on top of the EPDM. Not only is this a great addition for the environment, but it will also insulate your room further.

At Outsiders we have a team of qualified electricians who will install all the wiring, light switches, sockets etc. You will be provided with an electrical certificate on completion.

Yes! We can tailor the design, layout, materials, and features to your specific preferences and requirements.

Our garden rooms are designed to be low maintenance. However, regular cleaning and occasional maintenance checks may be needed to ensure the structure remains in optimal condition. If you chose a softwood or painted finish externally, we would talk you through the maintenance required.

Yes, all Outsiders Garden Rooms are insulated, and have heating installed as standard. Our rooms can be comfortably used throughout the year, regardless of the season.

All our rooms come with an electric radiator as standard. The walls, floor and ceiling are also insulated to keep the room at a stable temperature for year-round use.

All our Garden Rooms come with a 10-year guarantee.
