Having spoken to a few companies I decided to use Outsiders because the large companies that are hard to avoid with their high visibility and hard sell, were only keen to sell one of their bespoke solutions which when it came to the crunch left little flexibility. I am very tall and needed extra headroom. The big company I was engaging with could not provide it without a lot of extra cost. But Rob was able to accommodate my needs because Outsiders BUILD their garden rooms, they don’t assemble them. After a long conversation with Rob and with follow-up questions, I realised I was going to get exactly what I wanted and still the price was better than the large company. During the design and build I was pleased with the high-quality work from Rob’s team, in my case Chris, Jo and Adam. Not only were they highly competent with exacting standards but they were also a pleasure to have around. Throughout the design and build process I grew in confidence that no corners were being cut and that every stage was professionally finished. The completed studio exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob and his team and would encourage anybody to, at the very least, have a conversation with Rob before committing to a big company package. It became very clear to me that Outsiders was the sort of company I wanted to do business with. It turned out I made absolutely the right decision and would be happy to act as a reference for Outsiders.

Rob and his team are truly wonderful. We recommended them to everyone we know who’s looking at doing a similar project. Really trustworthy and hard working team. If we ever leave our current home, wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for a similar project in the next house!

After looking at many companies to build a garden studio we went with Outsiders because not only were they reasonable and transparent but also very personable, flexible and attentive. The whole experience with Rob and Clare and their great team of carpenters/builders/tradespeople was fantastic. They were always respectful and conscientious – Even when we had a lot of constraints moving materials through which required a bit of a community effort they were so patient with us. They are a great team who love what they do and their love is evident in the final result. The craftsmanship is fantastic and we’ve been blown away by our studio. Living in a garden flat in a terraced house having this studio has changed our lives – it is the best creative oasis- and it looks great too! By far the best investment we’ve made. I highly recommend Outsiders – you won’t be disappointed.

The guys at Outsiders have done a wonderful job with our outdoor office. They were all polite and professional from the word go and had excellent communication throughout. They designed exactly what we wanted, the right size, interior and additional features were all there and completed to an excellent standard. The whole build took less than three weeks start to finish and we love the result! All of our friends and family are very impressed with our new building and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Outsiders Garden Rooms were really helpful in building my Garden Room Studio. Rob and Clare were both really patient with allowing me to shop around before deciding on Outsiders, and all the guys working on the site did a great job despite the poor weather. Note that the building can get quite warm in the summer so consider installing blinds/curtains to block the heat.

The projected start date was prompt – Rob and the team arrived a few days early to start the ground work. We can’t say enough good things about the build process – Adam and Neil could not have been friendlier, they grafted every day come rain, shine (or gale force wind). The sub-contractors were equally as professional and we felt very reassured that we were in safe hands. The end result is far better than we could have hoped for, and the overall finish is fantastic, everyone who has visited has been blown away. Now to get it ready for the summer! We would highly recommended Outsiders, they are a first-class outfit – great comms and customer service, look no further.

Fantastic service from start to finish, the team are punctual, polite, meticulously detailed and respectful to keeping the house clean and noise and disruption to a minimum for neighbours.The level of detail and care and craft is astonishing. It was almost like watching a sports car or fine watch being made in my garden. It has over-exceeded our expectations and given a new lease of life to our property. From a barely used flower bed to a fully insulated, bespoke, artfully designed, fully fitted room for our house: perfect for an outdoor office/gym. If you are considering a Garden Room from Outsiders, we could not recommend a more diligent, professional and reliable team to turn your dream into a reality.

We are so pleased with our bespoke room fitted by Rob and his team. From beginning to end we were impressed with the outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail.
